Greg, Sabine and Max are looking for a family or group of families who would like to take on the active managing ownership of the farm. After over 10 years of developing the farm, we are looking for less daily responsibilities and more family time while allowing the farm to continue to grow into the future. As such, Finca Ipe is currently vested with shares. We would ideally like to retain a single share for ourselves and sell the remaining 10 shares in one block for $1.5M dollars. Other creative options might be considered.

We now comprise 25 acres with approximately ten thousand square feet of living and working spaces. This includes six houses, a large barn, two bodegas, a rancho and numerous green out-buildings for garden support and animal shelter. We care for a variety of animals that provide us with meat, eggs and milk and help support the farm's Biodynamic activities. Happy sheep, goats, cows, chickens, rabbits, ducks and turkeys call this home.

There are three large greenhouses and approximately an acre more of market gardens. We have close to 12 acres in pasture and lots areas of mixed planting including 2000 Ipe trees. The Ipe trees now maturing offer a sizeable return in the future. We have a small still and essential oil business while numerous opportunities for creative cottage-opportunities exist. Our ongoing volunteer and apprenticeship programs along with our education and retreat courses help offset the yearly operating costs.

The farm is ideally situated, enjoying the benefits of nice ocean breezes, lovely views and proximity to the village of Platanillo . We're also just 13km from Playa Dominical, and 40 minutes' drive to San Isidro Del General, a fast growing, bustling market town.
